“According to official figures and our discussions with the interior ministry, between 100 and 160 more mosques will be closed because they are run illegally without proper licenses, they preach hatred, or use takfiri speech (Muslims who accuse others of abandoning Islam),” Hassan El Alaoui told Al Jazeera.

“Those terrorists are a bunch of thieves and drug dealers that wore religious clothing,” he said of the November 13 Paris attacks.
“The whole issue is not about Muslims, but about terrorists. It’s an issue of security for everyone.”
Mr Cazeneuve told reporters the three mosques were the first to be closed in France “on grounds of radicalisation”.
One of the mosques, 35km east of Paris in Lagny-sur-Marne, was targeted by raids, with police seizing a 9mm revolver, a computer hard disc and jihadist propaganda.
Mr Cazeneuve said the mosque also had a non-authorised Quranic school.
One person was placed in custody following the raids, with 22 others banned from leaving France.
Nine others were put under house arrest.
The two other mosques, in Lyon and Gennevilliers in the Paris region, were shut down last week.
Mr Cazeneuve said police have seized 334 weapons since the attacks which left 130 people dead in Paris.
There are a total of 2,600 mosques in France El Alaoui said.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the late star, who died from a drug overdose in April 2014 aged 25, did not have a will but details of her estate have revealed she left close to $2m.
But the publication claims her gross estate was reduced to $850,000 after debts and outstanding affairs were settled.
It is not known what the debts relate to but by law if someone without a will dies then the first $500,000 of their estate goes to their civil or married partner.
As a result, Peaches’ musician husband Thomas Cohen will receive $500,000 from her estate, and the additional $300,000 will be split between him, and the couple’s two sons, Astala, three, and two-year-old Phaedra.
